The Villa
Kai Papai villa is 15 minutes from the international airport in Vieux Fort. It is about 10 minutes from the town of Soufriere, home of St Lucia’s most prominent attractions including the Piton World Heritage Site and the Sulphur Springs. There are beaches, rivers and adventure activities near the property.
It is is a multi-family home with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom upstairs, 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom downstairs and a separate studio cottage. The outstanding garden boasts a wide variety of local fruits and flowers. The yard is flat and fully fenced and has a nice lawn with 2 outdoor showers!
The entrance to the property is through a driveway that leads right to stairway. As you get to the top of the stairs you are greeted with a large, patio with lush views of the garden and Pitons in the background. This versatile space is an ideal entertainment area or family room. There is striking architectural detail in the floor to ceiling wooden facade. The rustic jalousie windows give the space great character. The patio includes an indoor/outdoor kitchen and covered dining area. Inside, there are 2 bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Each room has 2 beds and can sleep up to 4 people. The jalousies feature throughout and are matched by the custom cabinetry.
On the ground level, there is a side patio that serves as the main outdoor living space. This is surrounded on 3 sides by the lush garden. Inside there is a huge, eat-in kitchen. Next to this, there is an office with a garden view. This room has beautiful, wooden floors as well as a balcony. This level contains 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
To the back of the house is a separate cottage. It has an open floor plan with a bedroom and kitchenette. There is a loft which can accommodate an additional person. The cottage has an outdoor shower which ads to the character and charm of the property.
